Public Assistance Hotline

The mandatory business closures and stay at home orders brought forward by the COVID-19 crisis have created new struggles that many of us and our neighbors have to contend with. These struggles may include limited access to food or the necessary resources needed to get through the day. These challenges are not just limited to the elderly.

In recognition of this, the Town of Charlton has establish a Public Assistance Hotline to help connect residents to the resources that they need to get through these challenging times.

If you are in need of help, please call 508-248-2366 or email to let us know how we can assist you. Leave a message with your name, contact information and any assistance that you need.

Additionally, if you are willing to volunteer to assist those who may be home bound or have access to resources that would be helpful to others, please contact us through the hotline as well!

We are continually adding resources to our website to keep people up to date with the COVID-19 crisis. Please visit our resources at Also, text COVID19 to 888-777 to receive regular text alert updates from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

We are all in this together, and together, we will make it through.
