2023 CHARLTON SENIOR TRIPS
Our Senior Center is offering trips through The Best Of Times Travel.
You can sign up via internet: Townofcharlton.net then click on Government then click on Departments then click on Council on Aging/Senior Center then click on Trips (drop payments off at the center or mail all paperwork to: Charlton Senior Center Trips, 37 Main Street, Charlton MA 01507). If you have any questions, PLEASE send an email with your questions and phone number to: charltontrips@yahoo.com or call 508-248-2231. Trips are open to the public. You don't have to be a senior citizen nor a Charlton resident BUT you must be vaccinated and boosted.
If you are interested in traveling with us, please complete a TRIP FORM PRINTING your name, home address, email address and phone number CLEARLY. Don’t forget to attach your check and indicate your meal selection. You are not guaranteed a seat until this form is completed and your check is received.
TRIP FORMS are ALSO located on the wall across from the Director’s office. Trips fill up quickly. Submit your paperwork and check as soon as you can. Deadline dates are noted on the trip flyer along with cancellation information.
Pick up location for each day trip through The Best Of Times will be sent one week prior in addition to departure time and estimate time of return. Departure is from St. Joseph's Church, 10 H. Putnam Ext., Charlton MA 01508.
Day Trips through The Best Of Times includes transportation, plated luncheon, meal tax & gratuity and show ticket. Bus driver trip will be collected on our bus ride home.
COVID guidelines: It will not be necessary to show your vaccination card before boarding the coach, but please have your card either on your phone, in your wallet or pocket. Also have a photo ID as many places MAY ask for them. The requirements can change state by state want to be sure we are prepared--Just in case. Masks are currently not required on the bus.
