The Human Resources Department handles many diverse duties that are important to the growth and sustainability of the employees as well as the Town. The Department develops and implements new policies and procedures to ensure that all employees are treated fairly and that they are able to come to work each day to a safe, healthy and enjoyable workplace. Human Resources maintains employee and retiree files and manages the recruitment and onboarding of new employees. The department administers the compensation and benefits plans for employees and retirees, coordinates trainings for professional development and workplace safety and encourages wellness through our wellness initiative program.
